Details: 6th Grade Orientation

-6th grade orientation is not mandatory, but is definitely rewarding. Therefore, we highly encourage students to attend! If your student is unable to attend, the building will be open and available for students to walk their schedules and try out their lockers. The building will be open starting Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 7:30- 3:00. The building will stay open for walk-throughs until the first day of school. Please be mindful that the custodial staff and teachers are in the buildings working hard to get this school year kicked off. There may be sections of the building closed off for cleaning, or important meetings taking place.

6th Grade Orientation is for students only (sorry, no parents) The Orientation will be held in the WWMS Arena.

Students will learn:

  1. How to read their schedules
  2. How to open their lockers
  3. How to locate their classes
  4. Practice walking their schedules

Information for parents:

Please remind your students that they should only exit your vehicle in the designated lane in the back and North lot.  We want to prevent students from walking through the before- school and after-school traffic.  We appreciate your compliance in this matter.
